Artisans of the Barossa

Founded in 2005, Artisans of Barossa is a collaboration of family owned wineries with a shared commitment to the art of small batch Barossa winemaking. In 2021, their new $3.1 million tasting space opened at Tanunda.

The Artisans of Barossa wine room is framed against the backdrop of vineyards and the Barossa Ranges. It shares the view with their benchmark Barossa restaurant Essen and their café and providore Delikatessen. From this outstanding space, the Artisans of Barossa – John Duval, Spinifex, Sons of Eden, Schwarz Wine Co., Lienert Vineyards, Purple Hands Wines, Hobbs of the Barossa Ranges and Chaffey Bros. Wine Co. – proffer their wines with a simple, "I made this, please enjoy."

Each Artisan is driven to explore, experiment and express themselves through their wines. They also collaborate to produce a limited, small batch selection of Artisans of Barossa wines.
